Mission: Web design and site development through content management system installation and maintenance for virtual communities of any genre, with a special focus on artist and musician community sites.
My name is Jos Brown, also known about the web as "bantychick" since that is my screen name long in use at various communities I visit. I am an aspiring web developer who loves to learn and experiment with new techniques.
I'm an expert at code for the WebAPP Perl Portal System, as I was project manager there and most active programmer for the past couple of years. I've been working towards getting all the bugs and Perl warning messages out of WebAPP along with getting it running more smoothly with the code up to par with current standards. It's a long ongoing process that may never see it's end, but I've enjoyed what I've done with it so far.
I plan in the somewhat distant future to provide web development and design services to people seeking help with their sites. But for the present I continue to function mainly as a consultant offering free do-it-yourself help to others to get their WebAPP sites in working order and to make additions/changes they may want to make. This is fun and a learning experience for me as well as for those I have helped. If you have any WebAPP related or other internet related questions, please feel welcome to ask about them in the forums here. I'll do my best to help, and if I don't know, chances are someone else may come along who does.
